Welcome to Teleport 2! We’re a mother-and-daughter duo with a shared love for travel, sci-fi, and creating memories that are out of this world. Our name, Teleport 2, reflects not just our dream of whisking people away to amazing destinations, but also that it’s the two of us—partners in business and in adventure.
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for us. Back in the day, we didn’t exactly get along (think less "dynamic duo" and more "sci-fi showdown"). But somewhere along the way, our shared love of exploring new places brought us closer, and now we’re living proof that even the most unlikely pair can become the best of friends. Cue the music: "Just the two of us, we can make it if we try..."

The Trouble Maker
Hi everyone… I’m Elli, the obvious trouble maker! haha I've been traveling my whole life, literally since I was a baby! I absolutely love it. When I was growing up, my family and I would travel together, visiting many incredible places that ignited my passion for travel. In college, I was involved in multiple clubs focused on studying abroad and a love for travel. After graduating from SDSU, I knew I had to go and explore the world. So since then, I've traveled to many countries, mostly by myself, some with friends, and lot’s with family. I've been to over 20 countries and lived in four of them: USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. I have a real desire to inspire people to travel, and I'm fully committed to helping make that happen!

Hi, I’m Yumi, born and raised in Japan. I can be both an outgoing, fun person & a stay at home, nerdy kind of person. You know, balance. Back in 1988, I was interested in learning English but it was kind of limited in Japan. I worked 2 jobs, day & night to save some money to come to the US, even though all my family members are living in Japan. I studied at ESL school for about a year & met my husband a little after. We have 2 awesome kids who've been traveling with me to Japan since they were not even 1yr old!! We kept going back every 2 yrs and eventually we all traveled to different parts of the country and world! We still visit Japan often to visit new places and family.
